Monday, I pick up my new 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid. It gets 45 mpg on the highway, which means I'll use about half the gas as I did with my last car. The car is fully loaded and even has a USB port for my iPod. I priced the car versus the new Honda Insight and the 3rd generation Toyota Prius. The Civic Hybrid had the most incentives available and actually gets better mileage than the new Insight!
